The big day is Wednesday 29 Sept 2010 - Earth Ride Day

Presented by the Adelaide City Council and the Capital City Committee, Earth Ride - Adelaide 2010 calls out to everyone on Sunday 28th March, 9am-2pm to participate in this FREE community event. Earth Ride - Adelaide 2010 is part of a global initiative empowering the community to make a difference by engaging in sustainable solutions, to think globally and act locally. It coincides with the global initiative Earth Hour, with cities all over the world turning off their lights on March 27th at 8.30 to show their support towards a "greener" earth.

On Wednesday 30 September 2009 the first Earthride event in Australia was held at AB Mauri Foods at Camellia, NSW. The Morning was a great success with over 50 cyclists stopping by to exchange commuting stories while enjoying the great breakfast provided by AB Mauri.
Bicycle NSW would like to thank Environmental Trust, DECC, Parramatta Council and Auburn Council for their support for the EarthRide event.
